My favourite games 1 : Max Payne

Max Payne is a normal american , with a happy family and dreams, working with
the NYPD. He comes back home from work one find death
amd murder!. His beautiful wife and baby killed. Enter the world of
Max payne as he goes in search of the killers , himself being framed
for murder. Hunted by the police and cartels , he is a fugitive who
begins to uncover conspiracy and deceit and unearth strange details
that have cataclysmic results!

Few games have captured the hearts of millions of gamers world
wide as Max payne has. Gaming had a revamp , a revolution. With a
enthralling hollywood style drama as the back ground , an adorable
hero to steal the show and amazing graphics and revolutionary effects
the game became an instant hit after launch. Max payne , the hero ,
launches into a narrative now and then with his low guttural voice and
the amazing back ground score at work. Some effects like the
"bullet-time" where u enter a warp zone of slow movements and
matrix style movements to evade bullets are amazing. The game
literally brings its hero to life.

I love this game. Its more than that , i am attached to it. I
still think fondly of the game and keep comparing all the other games
to it. To say the truth , they all fall short. Max payne is the game you
cannot afford not to play!

Reviews Online:

"Story is the bedrock of Max Payne. Yeah, it's chock full of mind-blowing gunplay. But at every turn, a new and clever piece of noir storytelling will motivate you forward and illuminate the action." -- PC Gamer

A first in gaming. The first PC game with photo-digitized textures, radiosity lighting and hardware T&L combined. All this tech talk just means game play never looked this real, nor frightening!

A first in gaming. "Slo-mo gives you an inventive advantage over your opposition...[and] also happens to be the most frickin' cool device ever employed in an action game." -- PC Gamer

Max Payne is an original third-person 3D game based on the MAX-FX engine, and uses photo-digitized textures and radiosity lighting, resulting in one of the most realistic looking games ever seen on the PC.
